Last weekend, I got into a conversation about eye-catching qualities on the opposite sec. Most people said the usual 'eyes' or 'boobs,' but then some guy said 'feet.'
At first, I scrambled to get away from the guy with the foot fetish, but then he explained that he looks more at shoes than feet. He explained what he thinks of girls who wear different shoes, like girls who wear heels care more, or girls in flats are more causal and usually don't have nice butts - which made me realize that the first thing I notice about guys is not very usual either.
The first thing I notice is the pockets of his jeans. And I don't look at his butt, I look to see the brand - which suggests that I'm subconsciously REALLY materialistic, which I am not okay with.
But the jeans test has proven to be true. Nine out of 10 times, I have a better time with a guy in a pair of Sevens than I do with Urban Pipeline, relaxed-fit, carpenter jeans guy. It seems like guys who like to wear nicer jeans (or even notice the difference), care more about their appearence and less about belching or classic rock.

And that HAS to carry over to girls, too. Although many guys don't care about the brands a girl wears, I'd be willing to bet a Venti Mochachino (okay, I'm seriously not that materialistic) that no one wants to be seen with 98% spandex, three-sizes-too-small, muffin-top-central jeans girl.
Is that true? And what do you notice first on the opposite sex?
