It's everywhere.
Bright pops of color in demin form. I love it!
I wasn't so sure about this trend when I started seeing all of my favorite stores carrying colored demin, but it's fun AND flattering!
I've purchased a light blue pair (Anthropologie) and a mint green pair with zippers on the sides (J. Crew).

I'm obsessed with Lululemon. If you've never heard of it, it's a store that carries yoga & running & workout clothing ... And it's uber-expensive. Cute, fits amazing, and I always try to justify why it's worth spending the money on it.
But now ... I'm cheating on my Lulu. With OLD NAVY!
I popped by the Old Navy on Orchard Lake the other day to pick up some tank tops, and I got sucked in to the Activewear section. What did I find? Tons of adorable, neon-colored sports tanks and sports bras. Best part: They're all priced under $20!
I bought one in every color (seriously), and they're SO comfortable that I even wear 'em to bed!
I always talk about how pale I am .... I try not to tan in a tanning bed very often, so self-tanner is a great alternative for me.
A bunch of my friends use Jergen's Natural Glow Moisturizer, so I ran to Target the other day and bought a bottle of my own. With skirt-season fast approaching, I need to get SOME sort of color on my body!
My review: It smells good, provides natural-looking color (fast!), and you can build that color over the course of a few days, which I really like. And bonus: It's not super-expensive.
One tip: Be really careful when applying it to your feet and hands. It doesn't turn 'em orange by any means, but just make sure you don't leave "glops" of it on. Spread the lotion evenly, and wipe if off your palms by scrubbing it with a towel! (I had a few toes that were darker than the others!)
Remember Diablo's in Ferndale? Yup, it's gone and has been replaced by One-Eyed Betty's, a fabulously simple bar with a great little menu to boot.
Spike and I were hanging out there a few weekends ago, and aside from the beer list (it's HUNDREDS of beers long) and BLTs, the place also has great live music. We saw Tony Lucca (yes, the guy from "The Voice") play! Did I mention there are flat-screen TVs everywhere, too?
Perfect for a weekend afternoon hang, as a get-together spot to watch the game, or to spend a Friday night trying out the beer list!
