So, technically, I'm domestically disabled. Translation: I am not very talented at household chores including gardening, cleaning, laundry and cooking. Especially cooking. But I'm TRYING. Especially now that I'm married.
Helping me out with that one: Produce Palace International Market. Thank goodness for Mr. & Mrs. Katz (the owners) and Joe (the manager) ... not to mention the rest of the staff. I go in with a recipe that I found on Pinterest, and not only do they help me find everything I need, they also give me some advice on how to cook it and not burn down my house in the process.
Bonus: The BEST prices on produce, meats, deli items, baked goods, etc. that I've EVER seen. Seriously. I was blown away. Think of this way: You're getting the quality and variety that you see at all the upscale markets around town at a FRACTION of the price. It's unreal. I went to TOWN shopping in this store.
So ... to celebrate me (finally) learning how to cook, I wanted to share with you what I'm going to be makin' this Father's Day Weekend. Steal the recipes, please!
