Andrew "accidentally" left his credit card at one of the casinos over the weekend, so last night, we popped by to pick it up and then headed over to Mercury Burger Bar for dinner.
EVERYONE has been talking non-stop about this place, and for a good reason: It's fabulous.
Located directly across from Slow's BBQ Downtown, Mercury features a menu chock-full of yummy, unique burgers and sides. I had the California Turkey Burger with a side of tator tots, while Andrew tried the S.W. Detroit Burger (it's a burger topped with a chorizo slider, jalapeños, münster, tortilla strips, avocado, and pickled spiced carrots, with salsa) and the sea-salt fries.
By the time we were finished, we were way too stuffed to try the Hummer Milkshake, which is my stepmom's fave.
Cute atmosphere, great prices, a huge menu, and an awesome little outdoor patio, if that's your thing.
